Duties: Provide IT representation supporting business analysis and testing across Oversight Controls and Legal and global Compliance initiatives. Work closely with our internal clients to understand their business needs, and priorities. Advise business on options, risks, and costs associated with requested efforts. Work with vendors to identify to solve a problem and evaluate candidate solutions for solving a technology problem. Wherever required, perform a build vs. buy analysis to solve a problem. Hold JAD sessions with business partners to identify, assess, and document functional requirements and constraints in a manner that fosters traceability. Develop use cases and user stories to explain/demonstrate business requirements/specifications to IT team. Understand technology well enough to be able to fruitfully contribute to a design reviews. Work with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that the documented requirements can easily be translated into test plans. Ensure that there is adequate test coverage for any implemented requirement. Facilitate implementation of new functionality through training sessions, demos, and the development of appropriate documentation. Work with test team to develop system integration test scripts and ensure testing results correspond to the business expectations. help with the change management process to ensure proper adoption of the new tool where large business/technology transformations are carried out. Assist in resource planning, coaching, and providing performance feedback to the team. Coach and mentor less experienced team members. Assist with setting priorities and providing strategic and tactical vision for the team.Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology Management, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or seven (7) years of experience as a Technologist, Business Technology Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree and five (5) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and seven (7) years.Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following: business transformation; change management; business process modeling; business process blueprinting; make vs. buy analysis; vendor evaluation; technology strategy formulation; business plan development; and project management. This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: semantic web and related technologies including OWL, RDF, SPARQL, Topbraid Composer, and Protege.
