In 2017, Anthem established the Salesforce.com Center of Excellence (CoE) to leverage CRM capabilities and maximize the value of future investments by establishing an operating model to provide in-depth analysis of CRM trends, developing best practices that anticipate business needs, standardizing CRM processes to increase efficiency, reduce duplication, and drive consistent CRM Enablement experiences. In 2019, the CoE is 100% agile, supports 16 business units, has over 300 associates and contractors and leverages >100k Salesforce.com licenses across several platforms. As Anthem grows, the team is expanding to increase strategic advantage as well as CRM Enablement and adoption.Anthem is looking for a Senior level, data-driven, digital & CRM engagement leader. The CoE is developing a dedicated Solution Consulting team to assist in the development of strategy and advisory services. The team will be comprised of innovators and problem solvers who apply their digital marketing, CRM and executive-level business acumen coupled with our proven Salesforce methodology to deliver comprehensive business and CRM engagement strategies that differentiate and win.Role Description:This role collaborates with internal team members and leaders (across sales, service, product, marketing, solution engineering and other Saleforce.com Innovation teams) and C-level associates across the Enterprise. Solution Consultants help drive consensus in and across our business segments around CRM strategic visions and develop value-based, pragmatic roadmap to execution. This leader must assume the role of trusted advisor for driving innovative CRM strategies with business partners also improving overall Salesforce business performance. This leader will play a pivotal role in developing innovative B2C, B2B and B2B2C CRM engagement strategies.The Solution Consulting team will focus in these areas:

Business/Marketing/CX Problem Solving: Take ambiguous/complex challenges and, using research, personal experience, business assessment capabilities and customer experience acumen, clearly define problems, identify opportunities, drive innovative new ideas, and recommend actionable, prioritized next steps to make a big impact on customer needs/goals.

Innovation Management: Bring rigor to the decision making process by performing detailed cost/benefit analysis, running workshops, presenting and evaluating solution options, and driving consensus among key stakeholders. In some instances, help our business partners develop new decision frameworks and governance processes that continue to deliver value far beyond a particular engagement. A seasoned story builder and storyteller, who can lead a room of executives to consensus.

Solution Planning: Define scope and plan new solutions while determining how to measure business results modeling current/future business processes, gather business requirements and identifying the organizational changes required to successfully realize the benefits of the solution.

Requires BA/BS in Computer Science or related field;

7+ years of IT management experience,

ability to manage across geographically diverse associates and vendor partners; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Experience, expertise and/or specific certification may be required.

What you’ll need to be successful:

A proven track record of driving customer success and aligning in complex customer environments at the executive and departmental level

Experience leading people with a history of creating and inspiring great teams who have delivered results

Experience with digital/CRM/marketing and/or management consulting experience focused on the digital/CRM space is an asset.

Salesforce.com experience is required., Healthcare is a plus

Proven experience leading strategy development and roadmap projects in a complex business environment

Deep understanding of and passion for the customer lifecycle and managing the customer experience

Excellent collaboration, communication and presentation skills; dynamic (persuasive) in presenting ideas to clients and prospective clients from VP to C-level

Ability to understand, communicate and manage across the entire project lifecycle

Broad knowledge of technology trends and relevance to clients businesses

Mix of business and technical acumen with ability to engage and add value in discussions involving both technology and business strategy

Ability to contribute beyond your role and lead strategic initiatives to improve the customer experience

Demonstrated history of data-enabled decision making and prioritization

Proven track record of leading seven figure engagements with enterprise customers and a demonstrated ability to guide strategy and deliver outcomes for the customers that resulted in material value growth

Passionate about technology, a natural, credible evangelist, and experienced in translating that passion into business impact for customers

Previous experience with open source solutions or with an annual subscription sales model is a plus

Willingness to travel to spend time on-site with strategic business partners and customers

Salesforce product certifications are a plus (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Certified App Builder, Developer, Cloud specific consulting certifications (i.e. Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc)
