We are looking for an experienced Technical Specialist to join our team Geeks Tech Support is seeking a self-motivated individual with recent working knowledge of computer systems and computer system components. As a technical specialist, you will be providing a variety of hardware and software support to residential and business clients. You will be the point of contact for customers calling for technical support, working with customers you will listen and discuss the problems, take detailed notes, diagnosis software/hardware, and provide appropriate steps for troubleshooting. In addition, you will also repair, replace, install, and/or upgrade hardware and software, or building workstations. Our employees follow the appropriate standards of operation from check-in to resolution to check-out process. In this position, your time will be spent: 10% on hardware /repair and troubleshooting and 90% remote and onsite travel work.send your resume.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create a first-rate customer experience
Schedule on-site support: Service calls to homes and businesses or connect remotely
Understand both hardware and software parts of a device and able to identify internal components.
Set up new computers, installing router, firewall, access point.
Disassembling laptops, diagnosing and replacement of parts and/or building custom workstations.
Troubleshoot, repair, replace or upgrade network equipment, computer hardware, software and peripherals.
Utilize latest diagnostic tools for computers and networks
Utilize virus detection protocols and programs
Multitask and prioritize tasks as the situation dictates.
Help customers remotely
valid driver license and willing to travel
