iTEC Consultants is an established Custom A/V company located in Union Beach NJ and services all of NJ, NYC as well as some out of state locations. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, self starting Technician for employment in the high end custom Audio & Video Company. The perfect candidate has 3+ years experience of wiring, installation and Home Automation Systems such as Control4, Savant, Lutron & Wireless Networks. The perfect candidate also has a pulse on new technology. With the rapid evolution of technology and integration, it would be great if you had a genuine passion and interest in the field.
Qualifications:
1) Run structured wiring in new construction and retrofit of residential and commercial dwellings. (We offer in house training). Wiring based off drawings and pull-chart schedule.
2) Able to terminate RG6, CAT5e, 6, 7, Speaker and Fiber .
3) Installation of electronic components including but not limited to A/V receivers, HDTV's, In-wall/ceiling speakers, and audio/video distribution. (We offer in house training).
4) Home Theater installation. (We offer in house training).
5)Able to troubleshoot Audio Video systems.
6) Control4 and Savant installation/ set-up and programming is a plus.
7)Lutron lighting control systems and motorized shade installation and programming is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
1) Physical Ability to lift at least 50lbs.
2) Extremely clean workmanship.
3) High attention to detail.
4) Self motivated and strong willingness to learn.
5) Ability to receive, accept and complete tasks to professional standards.
6) Must have transportation to job-sites during the probationary period - a company vehicle shall be provided thereafter.
7) Clean driving record.
8) Tools (Must have wire strippers, wire cutters, drill, tape measure, level, 10 in 1 screwdriver, set of hex keys, set of precision screw drivers, ratchet set or socket set, hammer, tool bag or heavy duty book bag, soldering gun and toner set).
9) Ability to communicate w/ management and provide daily written work reports, etc.
Candidates after 90 days will receive a company vehicle and company credit card.
