We are currently seeking candidates to join our successful Federal organization as a Systems Developer for an enterprise cybersecurity opportunity. The position involves managing and maintaining current databases, as well as devising internal site-specific enhancements or future replacements to these current databasesYour future duties and responsibilities:
Manage the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems
Create and verify backups of data
In this role, you listen to and translate customer needs into high-level specifications.
You will also be responsible for the design and development of recommended systems and consult with Leadership to ensure their smooth implementation
Performs system-level design and configuration of products including determination of hardware, OS and other platform specifications.
Performs a variety of systems engineering tasks and activities that are broad in nature and are concerned with major systems design, integration, and implementation.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.
Attention to detail coupled with effective analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
Ability to establish working relations at all organizational levels and demonstrate ability to diplomatically and effectively deal with government officials and program office stakeholders.
Experience in establishing new processes.
2+ years’ experience in systems development
Experience with programming languages and frameworks such as Java (J2EE), C# and/or .NET
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
