Seeking an experienced office administrator to assist our Controller. We are a family-owned operation. Our holdings include seacoast-based restaurants and residential/commercial properties.
The position is part-time with flexible hours.
Primary duties will include the following:
Opening and sorting mail
Bank runs
Processing weekly check runs
Filing
Updating and maintaining vendor files and all related documentation
Obtaining W-9s and keeping Certificate of Insurance files up-to-date
Assisting Controller with office tasks
Other duties may include the following:
Answering phones
Maintaining restaurant reservations and function contracts
Data entry
Ensuring proper invoice approval
Entering invoices into Quickbooks
Resolving invoice and payment discrepancies
Reconciling accounts
Billing tenants and maintaining related files
Responding to management requests
Stepping in for Controller when necessary
Required Qualifications:
Prior administrative responsibilities
Prior customer service experience
Prior experience with Quickbooks
Strong proficiency in Excel
Superb attention to detail
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
The ability to work independently and within a fast-paced, team environment
