Set in a 200 year-old barn overlooking acres of gardens and apple trees, The Creamery is a full-service seasonal ice cream stand located at Applecrest Farm in Hampton Falls, NH.
Now seeking a part-time, seasonal Manager to elp lead and motivate a staff of 5 to 10 employees of the cutest ice cream shop on the Seacoast! The Creamery Manager will learn to train staff according to well-established Applecrest guidelines and policies and foster a positive environment for staff and guests alike. S(he) will produce weekly work schedules for the staff, track hours and compensation and handle any employment related issues that arise.
This is a multi-faceted "working manager" position, requiring someone comfortable with performing any and all staff duties to include taking inventories, submitting product orders, scooping ice cream, serving customers and operating a cash register.
Prior ice cream and/or customer service experience is great but not mandatory. We will train you! Candidates MUST have a cheery, outgoing disposition, absolutely enjoy working with people and thrive on customer service in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be detail oriented and near obsessed with organization and cleanliness. All applicants must also be of vigorous good health, able to lift up to 40 pounds and endure long hours on feet.
Position requires 20+ hrs. per/week May thru end-October. Candidates must have generally open availability and the capacity to work select evenings and weekends.
Compensation is $18 to $20 pr/hr, commensurate with experience.
