Creative Assistant Chef - Fast paced cafe, where 99% of the food you work with is Organic! Looking for someone with some formal training in culinary arts and/or 1 year min. work experience in related field. Must be self driven, passionate about food, creative, team player, and have knowledge of or interest in learning more about organic/alternative cooking.
Mostly daytime schedule, some weekends and nights required. Generous compensation package based on experience including generous employee discount storewide. In addition to our core recipes, enjoy a lot of creative freedom to make different recipes regularly.
Job duties include, but are not limited to: creating unique dishes for cold prepared food case/grab and go case, making soups, adapting menu seasonally, take out catering production, prepping cafe line items, customer service, working on the cafe line, and helping where needed with other aspects of the cafe/store.
