Job Description
Inofab is seeking smart, energetic and forward -thinking Structural Engineers, with mid level experience. Inofab is comprised of ethically sound, forward-thinking employees who are creative, self-motivated, and organized. We are continually looking to retain top talent who encompass the same skill set. We currently have positions open in our Pittsfield office.
Candidates should have a background exhibiting an exceptional track record in in some or all of the following disciplines: Design, analysis, structural calculations and detailing of both steel and aluminum free standing structural systems, overhead glazing (glass and polycarbonate) systems.
Ideal candidates will exhibit some or all of the following attributes and background:
-Manage complex porte cochere, canopy and skylight, projects providing leadership and expertise to internal project engineering and design teams.
-Ability to work successfully in a collaborative team-oriented environment
-Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge
-Structural steel and aluminum experience.
-Overhead glazing experience.
-Curtainwall / glazing system experience
-Experience with cold-formed, hot-rolled and aluminum design
-Experience in all phases of design, from conceptual design to construction documents
-Actively participate in technical and professional associations
-Lead, develop and further advance our engineering group
Education and Requirements:
-Bachelors or Masters degree from ABET accredited institution with a focus in structural analysis/design
-Knowledge of current design codes and standards.
-Prior experience in the construction industry
-Mid-level candidates: minimum 2 years of structural steel, aluminum and or overhead glazing and construction experience
-Strong people management and leadership skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Self-motivated
-Software proficiency in: RISA 3D, STAAD.PRO, AUTOCAD,
