Seacoast small animal veterinary hospital is looking for a compassionate, friendly organized client care specialist/veterinary assistant to join our team. This part time (20 + hour) position has the potential for more hours in the future. Opening and closing shifts plus some alternating Saturdays are required.
Your duties include: Client care specialist duties include greeting patients and their pet guardians, rooming patients, check in/ out , scheduling appointments, follow up medical callbacks & medical records maintenance and client product education. Assist Doctors and technicians with pet restraint, clean and maintain exam rooms and treatment area, prepare lab specimens and run in house lab work , update client & patient information and treatments in Avimark vs system.
Some veterinary experience is preferred but will consider training the right candidate. Our hospital offers continuing education reimbursement, uniform allowance as well as paid time off.
