DescriptionWe have partnered with a growing family business that is in need of a Part Time Accountant to assist with their day to day accounting operations.The job responsibilities of the Part Time Accountant are:
Accounts Payable to include opening and sorting mail, journal entries, general ledger maintenance and check runs
Accounts receivable to include posting payments, reaching out to customers for payments, and invoice preperation
Bank reconciliations
Month end assistance
The ideal qualifications for the Part Time Accountant are:
SAGE/Peachtree experience
Excel Experience
Strong Accounting knowledge
Ideally 5= years of Accounting experience

Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required
Eagerness to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, vlookups) is preferred
Applicants are recommended to hold an AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Adeptness in Accounting Principles
Demonstrated knowledge of Post Journal Entries
Deep understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Good understanding of Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Monthly Account Reconciliation experience highly valued
Account analysis experience preferred
Earlier work involving account reconciliation
Accounting policy experience
Background working with Microsoft Excel
Peachtree Sage experience highly preferred
General familiarity with Check Runs
Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR)
Practical knowledge of ADP Financial Services
Previous experience working with bank reconciliations
At minimum, 1 year of relevant accounting experience
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
