This is not a job for everyone but, if you are not squeamish, love working with dogs, enjoy being outdoors and are an independent worker, this job can be fun and rewarding. Must be able to work independently. This is a part time job. Great second job! Duties include traveling in your own vehicle to local residential homes and businesses to remove dog waste from yards and dispose of in a proper manner. Must be able to work daytime hours during the week.
Minimum lifting is 5 lbs - 25 lbs 20 to 30 times a day.
Repetitive moments such as bending, squatting, etc. are required.
We work all year round in rain, wind, extreme heat, snow, hail. This is an all-year round job so if you are just looking for TEMP work please do not apply.
You will be given supplies, equipment, company t-shirt for warmer weather.
Must have a smart phone and internet access or a GPS on your phone, you receive your route by email.
Must have own reliable vehicle and insurance. Preferably something that gets great gas mileage
Not all poop is created equal. You must have a strong stomach to perform poop scoop duties. There will be poop of all consistencies, as well as flies and possibly maggots present, especially at initial clean up visits.
