Busy transportation company looking for a Windows System Administrator to work on a consulting basis.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Provide support as needed for software and hardware implementations. Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution on as-needed basis.
Modify the application configuration as needed to support changes to infrastructure software and hardware
Configure vendor software for proper use including desktops, web servers, databases and terminal server access
Ensure that all servers have security and other patches
Monitor applications and address any system outages
Qualifications / Required Skills
3+ years experience in Windows server system administration
Advanced knowledge of remote administration Windows Operating Systems
Excellent understanding of storage, network, and hardware technologies
