Currently looking for customer service orientated security officer's to join my team for an outdoor establishment. It is a part time job and will involve foot patrol around the property. This is a weekend job and hours vary from 16hrs to 28hrs per week. I currently have 4 positions available that I need to fill. The pay rate is based on experience. 1. Job Summary:

Security officers assure Broadacres Marketplace is safe and orderly.

a) Assists customers who may have questions or concerns.

b) Promote effective security and protection of customers, employees, vendors, and property at Broadacres Marketplace

c) Assists the office as necessary

2. Essential Functions:

a) Patrols premises assuring that all Broadacres rules/regulations are being followed by vendors and customers. (Such as but limited to checking counterfeit product, staying behind the white line, etc)

b) Actively looks for hazards and notifies supervisor.

c) Assists in emergencies as indicated by on duty supervisor.

d) Provides information to customers as needed.

e) Ensure that vendors are within the space’s lines.

f) Escorts vehicles out that are driving on property before driving out times.

g) Ensure that all vendor vehicles are parked in their space or drive out the property to assigned vendor parking area by 6:30 P.M on Friday, 10:00 A.M on Saturday and 9:00 A.M on Sunday.

h) Enforces vendors and Employees Park in their designated parking lot.

i) Assist escorts of undesirable people off company property.

j) Completes daily duties assigned by security supervisor.

k) Attends any training classes/meeting set by management.

l) Always promotes a harassment-free environment.

m) And other duties as directed by Security Supervisor or as business needs dictate.

n) MUST WEAR A BRACE SUPPORT WHEN LIFTING ITEMS OVER 10 LB.

3. Additional job functions:

a) Lost and Found: On occasion, a child may be lost and the duty as the officer is to assure the child is safe, and the parent is located in a prompt manner. Found items (purse, wallet, cell phone, etc.) will be turned over to Security Supervisor or Main Office.

b) First Aid: Security personnel will be dispatched when needed and as directed by Management/Security Supervisor.

c) Request IDs from everyone who looks under 21 years of age in reference to the consumption of alcohol on property.

4. Education and/or Experience:

a) High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

b) Previous Security Experience preferred.

c) Security officers must possess knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, laws and strategies to promote effective security operations for Broadacres.

d) Must be able to verbally communicate information effectively.

e) Able to read, write and speak English language.

f) Bilingual in Spanish language helpful.

r) Must be able to communicate clearly to give directions, make calls, ask for assistance, or answer questions, etc

s) This is primarily outside work and subject to the weather in the North Las Vegas area.

t) Must wear closed toes shoes while on property. No slippers, sandals, flip-flops or any shoe management deems inappropriate.

u) If required, must pass a pre-employment/ physical fitness for duty and drug test.

6. Relationships:

a) The security officer must have an open relationship with every department that he/she comes in contact.

b) He/she must be approachable by members of their team.

c) Reports to security supervisor.

d) Open line of communication and daily updates, with the Security Dep. Manager and General Manager.
