A prominent multinational company with over 43 years of experience is currently hiring for an exceptional and experienced Leasing Consultant/Bookkeeper for one of our Las Vegas, NV communities
Leasing Consultant
The essential functions include, but are not limited to:
Tour apartments with clients
Lease and pre-lease apartments
Present. explain and complete lease/renewal paperwork
Walks apartments and reports all necessary improvements
Identifying qualified leads through referrals, networking and outreach marketing efforts
Maintain closing ratio based upon the needs of the community
Help plan, schedule and organize resident functions
Participate in social media marketing to obtain traffic and assist with brand managment
Maintain a professional demeanor at all times
Follows company policy in regards to documentation and record keeping procedures
Must possess excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Must always be courteous and helpful to residents, prospective residents and co-workers.
Communicates effectively and on a regular basis with the property manager and all staff members
Coordinates and participates in resident functions.
Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Community software (such as OnSite, MRI)
Must know and comprehend Fair Housing Laws
Bookkeeper
Post to resident payment histories on a daily basis from copies of the Daily Deposits.
Balance Cash Detail Reports (CDD) to deposit.
Charge all Late Fees.
Prepare weekly delinquency report starting on the 6th of every month. Includes printing Notices to Pay Rent.
Set up new residents, update lease renewals and month-to-month leases.
On a routine basis, do the moving out of the residents and process Statement of Deposits. Prepare the Security Deposit package, including the Voucher (for payment for the refunds), and route to On-Site Manager
Daily input Traffic Report Information.
Weekly print and forward Traffic (Occupancy) Report to Corporate Office.
Upon authorization to close the month, close the month and charge the next months rents. Prepare month end reports.
Communicate issues and problems to my immediate supervisor and/or the Corporate Office.
Perform the tasks timely and accurately to assure the daily, weekly and monthly reports represent a reliable and accurate reference source.
Review, learn and understand all policies and procedures outlined in the Red Book.
Perform all tasks assigned by Resident Manager, Accounting Manager and/or Corporate office.
Abide by all Olen policies and procedures and use all appropriate forms.
