- Responsible for having a vision of what key stakeholders wish to build, and convey that vision to the scrum team,
- Incorporating feature requests into product road map by holding stakeholder meetings on a regular basis,
- Analyze preferences and requests of end users,
- Responsible for securing funding for features, programs and projects and reporting on the financials back to stakeholders,
- Must be able to maintain, groom and prioritize a backlog,
- Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria based on the stakeholder requests,
- Ability to set sprint goals at the beginning of a sprint,
- Ability to plan releases and upgrades,
- Follow progress of work and address production issues during sprints,
- Must keep track of industry trends and maximize investments,
- Providing support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example,
- Other duties as assigned,
- Work experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management.
- Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle.
- Technical background with knowledge of software development, web technologies and operational processes.
- Team spirit, good communication abilities and good organizations skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
- Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferred, experience can be used in lieu of education.
- Product Owner Certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile frameworks and the ability to apply those frameworks.
- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, continual improvement, and empowerment.
- Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
- Must be able to sit at a computer for extended periods.
- Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers, devices, and peripherals.
- Must be able to hear and speak clearly using a standard telephone.
- Must be flexible on work hours as systems emergencies arise.
- Must be a self-starter and work with little or no daily direct supervision.
- Must be able to provide own transportation.
- Must be able to provide on-call support for your assigned Casino or other locations as required.
