DescriptionAn industry leading and growing company is looking to add a Controller to their growing team. The Controller role is a newly created role due to the growth being experienced by the company and as Controller, you will play a key role in the continued growth of the company. Your responsibilities as Controller will consist of, but will not be limited to the following:
Managing accounting staff.
Prepare monthly financial statements.
Manage month-end close process.
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures in order to manage the growth being experienced.
Work with external CPA firm and other external parties.
Prepare monthly budgets and forecasts.
RequirementsThe ideal candidate should meet the following the minimum requirements.
Bachelors degree in accounting.
Advanced Excel skills.
Strong understanding of GAAP.
Month-end close experience.
Financial statement preparation experience.
Prior public accounting is highly preferred.
