under the supervision of the Infection Control Program Manager with

ultimate oversight by the Chief of Quality, Safety, Value Service

(QSV).Learn more about this agencyResponsibilitiesThe incumbent is responsible for the build and maintenance of the

organizational dashboards including such data points as Strategic

Analytics for Improvement and Learning (SAIL) program, Inpatient

Evaluation Center (IPEC), External Peer Review Program (EPRP),

internal and external survey data, suspense and policy coordination.

This position requires organizational skills to ensure data entry is

timely and accurate, track information and coordinate routing of

information. Performs tasks for studies, inspections, etc. required

by VA National, the VISN, the Office of the Inspector General (OIG),

Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and

the Joint Commission (TJC).The purpose of this position is to direct and perform a variety of

related administrative matters in support of Quality, Safety, Value

(QSV) at the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Southern Nevada

Healthcare System. The incumbent is responsible for performing a

variety of duties including, but not limited to the following:

Assist in the tracking and trending of performance measures

(PM).

Provides organizational expertise to procedures, systems, and

tools to analyze the effectiveness of performance improvement

efforts, including audits, inspections, reports, and management

and/or interview reviews.

Coordinates and evaluates QSV data and identifies issues

requiring further investigation and exploration.

Prepares documents for review by the appropriate Board,

Councils, Committees, and teams.

Records and maintains minutes of the QSV Council and SAIL Team

meetings.

Utilizes expert knowledge of Sharepoint, VISTA, VSSC, Pyramid

Analytics, Access, Power Point, Word, Excel, and other software

programs to access and extract data/information, to prepare

recurring reports, presentations, dashboards, and other written

reports and maintain databases.

Uses analytical skills to produce meaningful data presentations

including comparative formats such as control charts.

Prepares/sends correspondence and tracks responses.

Coordinates policy initiation, review, routing, and revisions.

Develops material and information while assisting QSV or other

staff in preparation for external surveys/inspections/suspenses

or other requests.

Serves as the QSV alternate/backup in timekeeping, records

liaison, Talent Management System Administrator and inventory

control.

Collaborate with the QSV staff to prepare education, training,

and support materials and provide education and training to

promote compliance and understanding of improvement and

accreditation activities.

Assist other QSV staff as directed to perform other related

duties as assigned.

Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full

performance level without further competition when all regulatory,

qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a

lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full

QualificationsTo qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements
