POSITION TITLE: Assistant Manager
REPORTS TO: Owner
QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of 1 year of retail management experience (must be consecutive)
Retail clothing management experience preferred
Associates Degree Preferred
Experience with managing people
High aptitude for metrics and process oriented
Must be available to work night and weekend shifts
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
KEY QUALITIES: Strong time management skills, Strong organizational skills, Dependable, Timely, Honest & Positive.
SALARY: $12 - $16 an hour during probation period, then salary.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Implement the vision and expectations of the owner.
2. Helps build brand for clothing store including social media promotions.
3. Helps create logical system for organizing clothing.
4. Hires and trains employees for clothing store section.
2. Completes opening and/or closing duties.
3. Actively listens to staff members, builds relationships with them, and motivates them to accomplish daily goals.
4. Anticipates the needs of customers, and communicates needs to owner.
5. Understands and upholds all store policies.
6. Circulates around the store to ensure all employees are actively doing their job.
8. Ensures the store is set for the next day.
