Pediatric Dental office in Council Bluffs is looking for a full or part time dental assistant to join our practice. We are looking for a friendly and upbeat individual who is able to communicate with children as well as their parents. In addition, someone who is able to work well with others.
Primary responsibilities for our dental assistant are chairside assisting, behavior management for the nervous and anxious child, providing routine cleanings and taking oral radiographs. Applicants must be x-ray and coronal polish certified. Also, applicant must be willing to obtain expanded function training in monitoring of nitrous oxide inhalation analgesia as well as obtain hospital privileges (to be paid by employer).
