Life Skills Instructor
QUALIFICATIONS
Prefer High School graduate or equivalent. Should have Nebraska Certifications to administer medications and give treatments or be willing to complete the medications training offered by Envisions. Must be able to perform all aspects of household management and to budget money efficiently. Prefer to have a drivers license, valid in the State of Nebraska, and a good driving record.
FUNCTIONS
The Life Skills Instructor will provide residential or vocational care and supervision to assigned consumers within the guidelines of Nebraska Health and Human Services. He/She will be responsible for helping to provide a safe and pleasant environment. The Life Skills Instructor will administer medications, treatment, and programs as assigned. Duties will and also include the participation as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team, assessment of the consumer's developmental and training needs, and the design, implementation, of programs to meet these identified needs for each consumer to whom the staff is assigned. The Life Skills Instructor must deal with emergency situations as appropriate and notify their immediate supervisor of the event.
HOURS
full time/ Sunday 2pm to 10pm
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 11pm to 9am
You are able to sleep at night.
