Comprised of 15,000 employees in 5 countries including in 16 states in 40 locations, we are a global partner of choice delivering innovative capabilities to gather, share and protect intelligence for a more secure world.The Mission Systems Field Engineer 2 provides maintenance andsustainment on extremely complex airborne and ground based systems for theRC-135S.Theseinclude sophisticated digital and computer based systems; RF distributionsystem, receivers, transmitters and modems; digital and analog recordersystems; audio and video distribution, switching systems, and communicationsequipment. Required to complete assigned tasks with little or no directsupervision. Position will require at least 50% travel.QualificationsBachelor's Degree with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is desired.
Thoroughknowledge and understanding of digital and RF theory and techniques.
Mustbe accomplished electronics technician with sufficient experience to workunsupervised if necessary.
Mustalso have the initiative and ability to study and learn these complex systemswith a minimum of instruction or outside help.
Knowledgeand experience with the current RC-135S systems or equivalent platform ishighly desired.
Knowledgeand experience with the LINUX operating system and Microsoft Office software isdesired.
Abilityto climb an aircraft ladder as well as lift 50lbs.
Membermust possess at least a Secret level DoD security clearance with theability/eligibility to obtain a Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance.
