SUMMARY: The purpose of this job is to process metal parts according to shop specifications and production efficiencies.
Position available for those 18 years of age of older.
WAGE TYPE: Hourly, 1st Shift Monday thru Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE: Reports to Shop manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. Ability to interpret the optimum process for the designated part to be surface finished. Follows the standardized finish process specifications step by step. Should be a self starter.
QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required.
EDUCATION: Work History
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Must be able to read, write, and comprehend the English language. Must be able to read work instructions and prints in order to follow proper procedures. Must be able to read safety warnings and labels. Must be able to communicate verbally with others.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Corrected vision and dexterous use of both hands. Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds. Must be able to stand continuously for up to four hours at at time. Must be able to perform repetitive stooping, kneeling, reaching and pinching.
OTHER SKILLS: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
