Denver Plastics in Wahoo, NE is looking for a Materials Handler to join our team on 1st Shift. The Materials Handler is responsible for the timely movement and transfer of raw materials, components, and packaging to the appropriate work center and timely return of raw materials, components, and packaging to the appropriate warehouse or staging area. Transfer finished molded product to the designated location for entry to the finished goods warehouse. In addition, the Materials Handler is responsible for the proper mixing, loading, and drying of raw materials in a timely manner in the support of the production schedule.
Responsibilities:
Reviews production work order and transfers correct raw materials, components, and packaging to the appropriate work center.
Cleans hoppers/dryers and ensures avoidance of contamination by other raw materials.
Mixes raw materials with the proper mixture of plastic materials, color concentrate, and/or regrind plastic material. Loads mixture into dryer/hopper or loader.
Completes all production work order documentation for injection molding press start-up, molding press shutdown or line clearance.
Responsible for the material traceability and labeling of all raw materials and components.
Transfers completed and all approved finished molded product transferred to the appropriate warehouse location.
Complies with all company safety and personnel policies.

Education and/or Experience
the individual must have a high school diploma, a general education degree (GED). The individual must have at least 1 year experience as a Material Handler or trained in a similar industry.
The Material Handler will be certified and licensed in forklift operation.
