Gramercy Hill is looking to add full-time and part-time Medication Aides to our great team! We are currently hiring for day, evening and night shift! We are also hiring for part-time day and evenings CNA's!
Gramercy Hill is an assisted living facility located in Lincoln, NE, near 70th and A St.
Applicants must have current 40-Hour Medication Aide certification. We offer full-time benefits, PTO, free meal per shift, 401K and more.
Experience is preferred but is not required!
Job duties include:
-Give routine medications to residents based on the Five Rights
-Chart medications given on resident's record
-Work under the direction and oversight of a competent individual, caretaker, or licensed healthcare professional
-Maintaining patient confidentiality
-Comply with a resident's rights to refuse to take medication
-Practice safety in application of medication procedures
-To serve residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort while acting within the established guidelines set forth by state licensing regulations and Gramercy Hill
-Assist residents with dressing, bathing, personal hygiene and grooming
-Properly document services delivered and, if appropriate, resident condition
-Help make beds, empty trash, and obtain weights and vital signs as scheduled or requested
-Follow instructions given by supervisor and communicate with supervisor on resident health questions/concerns as necessary
-Respond to resident call lights promptly and respond to the needs of personal care residents
-Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times
Qualifications:
-Successfully demonstrate 10 competencies and the basic routes
-Be of good moral character
-Able to work well in a team setting
-Positive attitude
-Prepared to work in a busy setting
-40 Hour Medication Aide
