Data entry of patient clinical and billing information provided by specimen requisition in an accurate and timely manner.
Troubleshoots, research and resolves any problem associated with data information.
Scans specimen requisitions into computer system and prints supporting documentation to accompany specimens for pathologist review.
Operates various data entry terminals and automated data systems to record and verify customer demographic data and laboratory data identification and results, for computer processing.
Follows standard sequences and coding in entering and/or keying in data in correcting, editing, and verifying all data entered into automated systems.

Requirements
License/Certification/Education:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent
1-3 years of data entry experience.
An organized individual who is detailed oriented, able to multi task, and has strong critical thinking skills
Ability to stay focused and work independently in a stationary work environment
Must successfully complete a 10-key test at time of online application process.
Prior medical terminology background preferred
