Job Type: Hotel Front Desk Agent
Job Hours: Part-time
Compensation: $10/hour starting rate

Responsibilities:
-Greet all guests with a friendly acknowledgement and smile and conduct yourself in a profession, positive, and productive manner
-Maintain strong productivity both independently and in a team environment
-Maintain security and confidentiality pertaining to Guest and company information, property, and personal items
-Handle Guest concerns and questions in a swift and professional manner
-Conduct Front Desk responsibilities effectively and efficiently
-Follow all checklists and assigned duties which are subject to change at any time
-Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
-Manage phone and online reservations
-Be knowledgeable of acceptable payment methods and verify data
-Collect all necessary information while registering Guests
-Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
-Respond to Guest complaints in a timely and professional manner
-Partner with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, stocked and fully-furnished to accommodate Guests needs
-Upsell additional facilities and services, such as ball rooms, when appropriate
-Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
-Proficiently utilize Hotel software and systems, including but not limited to booking and email software, search engines, Microsoft Office products, and others as directed
-Answer phone calls and send emails efficiently and professionally
-Assist with hotel cleaning and other operations
-Clean and fold laundry; clean common areas, including but not limited to hallways, lobbies, offices, storage rooms, and food services areas; remove trash from building
-Conduct periodic bathroom and common area checks for cleanliness; clean and restock as needed
-Replenish supplies and assist with ordering and inventory
Requirements:
- Proven experience as hotel front desk staff, hospitality, housekeeping, or similarly relevant role
- Understanding of hotel best practices and guidelines
- Working knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of hotel management software is an advantage
- Excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrable aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
- Reliable with an ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Outstanding leadership skills and a great attention to detail
