Small Excavation company is hiring a equipment operator for 2019 season. Applicant must have experience and overall general understanding of all phases of residential construction. Applicant will work with owner until it is apparent that they have necessary skills to perform job. Please do not waste time if you do not have experience digging in residential construction.
Duties will include:
Grease and maintain equipment
Ability to run an excavator and skid steer
Ability to hustle, jump in and out of machinery to check grade and dig.
Ability to jump in and out of ditches to install pipe.
Ability to oversee laborer and provide them with direction.
Must have 5 years prior digging experience, all digging will be done to perfection or this job will not work out for you.
CDL not necessary.
Transportation to work all over valley.
Ability to install pipe, shovel, rake, and perform any labor tasks.
Experience running chainsaw, jumping jack compactor, and plate wacker is a must.
Minimum 5 years experience using rotary laser level equipment. Must understand how to dig level and understand how to grade material either level or sloping.
Must understand the importance of compacting any type of material in lifts.
