Seeking an energetic and highly qualified female to work with a young woman with autism. We are looking for some one to support and teach life skills in all settings, to include her two jobs in the community, swimming, outings, sewing, spanish, math, speech, shopping and art. She is very independent and has no behaviors. If you choose to apply for this opportunity you will become part of the family. My daughter develops strong bonds with her companions. We are looking for only those who choose to have longevity and strong relationships with our daughter, family and the team. This job will be very different from any other job you have held. My team of four are highly trained and qualified and will help with all interviews. The current shifts are on Saturdays and Sundays, and generally run 6-8 hours per shift. Possible additional hours if folks need time off. This job is very flexible and the team is very supportive of each other. Training time is generally 50- 100 hours. We train at $10.00 per hour. After skills are acquired pay will be between $13-$16 DOE. You must be able to pass background checks, have a current drivers license to transport and insurance. Must be savvy with IPads. This young woman has her own apartment that she hangs out at each day for a landing pad. I have references for this job if needed. If you are interested in this job please be prepared to have good references for your past jobs. We do not use a Provider as we self direct our services through Acumen. This job is perfect for some one who wants to stay put, develop relationships and add a few hours to your other job.
