We are currently searching for a design sales associate to work at our Black Timber Furniture Showroom. Successful candidates will have excellent customer service and must be outcome-oriented. The ability to work in a variety of skills in a busy environment with strong attention to detail is essential. You will be fully engaged and busy from the first day and we guarantee there will never be a dull moment.
Our onboarding program guides you through our unique furniture and interior design process. We also train in work procedures for a free flowing engagement with customers. You will have confidence in working with our clients.
Responsibilities & Requirements
Report to Sales Manager
Ability to juggle multiple projects with superb accuracy
Strong administrative skills
Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person with our customers
Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills
Duties
Support office management: post invoices, collect payments, schedule deliveries, make appointments
Assist in designer sales by greeting and waiting customers, answering questions, and providing information when sales staff is out of the showroom
Maintain showroom appearance: Pricing labels, layout, cleaning; create branding labels and signs as needed; refresh display, monitor inventory of lamps and accessories
Maintain Design Center: samples, price lists, check-in-out process
Website content management: Upload photos, input pricing, meta data
Catalog Development: Create product catalogs for showroom use-Chairs, Architectural products
Qualifications
Must be computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as first point of contact for clients and customers
