AF&T Auto Parts and Salvage is growing with the community and needs a couple more good workers to fulfill increasing demand for parts and to process the record number of cars coming in to be recycled. Starting hourly wage is $14. Ability to use computers is a must for all positions.
Front office staff is primarily responsible for locating parts for customers using our computerized inventory system as well as physically looking for parts in the yard. Other duties include purchasing junk vehicles and keeping track of vehicles as they arrive as well as basic cleaning in and around the office.
Wreck-out staff prepares cars to be crushed by draining fluids, cutting out cats and removing other parts of value. Computer usage is required to pull up lists of what parts are to be removed from each vehicle. Must have basic mechanical knowledge and tools including an impact wrench. After training period this position becomes piece work and productive workers have earned well over $20 per/hr.
