You will be running our HR department with an emphasis on culture and recruiting.Duties: Show creativity and dedication in utilizing multiple resources to make sure we can find and hire the most qualified candidates. Conduct new employee orientation in a way that makes employees feel welcomed and excited to work at the St. Louis Job Corps Center to increase retention. Administer a wage and salary program including salary and personnel changes, performance appraisals, evaluation of position descriptions, personnel records and reports. Evaluate staff performance and provide staff training that aligns with the culture of caring philosophy. Implement organizational and personnel changes in positive ways for employees. Coordinate affirmative action compliance and equal employment opportunity; advise and assist supervisors in employee relations and benefit matters. Coordinate grievance, discrimination charges, requests for termination and other critical personnel matters with the center director for recommendation, review and coordination with the corporate office.
