All Star Labor & Staffing, founded in Portland, OR in 2009 and voted # 4 on the Ink5000 Fastest Growing Oregon Woman-Owned Business in 2016 is expanding to Springfield, MO. We are seeking a Branch Manager to join our leadership team and manage day-to-day operations of the Springfield branch. Ideally this person will grow to oversee all of Missouri as we continue to expand. We currently have six branches in Oregon and have growth plans for 2 additional states in 2020. www.allstarlabor.com

The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the branch, the staff in the local office and compliance with state and federal regulations. Additionally, the Branch Manager is responsible for continued growth by working with the Director of Operations and Director of Business Development to increase the overall profitability of the branch. All of our employees are responsible for portraying the vision and culture of All Star Labor & Staffing to the existing branch, temporary employees and in the communities that we do business.

The ideal candidate is familiar with Springfield, MO and surrounding areas. This individual will partner with the Oregon team to get the office up and running with new staff, etc as necessary for a successful launch.

4 plus years in the staffing industry is preferred must include recruiting for temp-to-hire, temporary and direct hire

Minimum of 5 years management experience

No more than 2 jobs in the past 5 years

Job Functions

-Assist in the hiring and training of qualified personnel in the local branch, in cooperation with the Director of Operations

-Train, mentor and assist in the development of the staff on procedures and policies set forth by the Operations Team

-Ensure compliance with all state and federal employment practices and regulations

-Assist in developing procedures for staffing and recruitment team ensuring qualified screening of applicants and ensuring customer satisfaction

-Ensure accurate time records for temporary employees, including payroll and invoicing

-Ensure all job orders are filled in a timely manner with qualified temporary employees

-Timely Filing of all Workers Compensation Claims and Incident Reports and partner with the Corporate Workers Comp and Safety Teams to minimize risk and manage claims

-Ensure the branch meets the goals and profitability set forth by the CEO and Director of Operations

Recruiting and Business Development Task:

-Assist the Business Development Team in the development of new accounts for staffing and recruitment services

-Develop a relationship with clients, ensuring that the branch is exceeding the expectations of the employer, through continued customer service

-Develop customer profiles, providing staffing coordinators with the "skill set" and "desired employee" to fulfill the need of the employer

-Customer service and conflict resolution

Additional Job Functions

-Assist applicants with the application process, ensuring all required forms are completed and accurate.

-Screen applicants to ensure the applicant possess the skills and requirements, as requested by the client

-Conduct interviews for specific positions, as well as the general screening process

-Perform skills testing on applicants, specific to employer, including background screening, drug testing and proficiency testing

-Assign and coordinate with customer and employee for start date, times, wage, etc.

-Perform orientation of new-hires ensuring safety, policies and expectations for temporary employees, as well as time card and payroll processes

-Ensure that all applicant forms are completed for all candidates interviewed

-Input applicant information into the ATS system

-Any other duties, as assigned, for the overall function of All-Star Labor & Staffing
