Apartment Maintenance
compensation: Depends on experience. Hourly or Salary

We are a Property Management company looking for a Maintenance Person in the Rolla/Sullivan area. We have 60 units that need some general maintenance. Qualified applicants:
live in Rolla or Sullivan areas
have good history of dependability and good job performance.
have experience in property maintenance (handyman skills); plumbing, drywall work, painting, electrical, landscaping, etc. and the tools associated.
have problem solving skills
are able to handle emergencies without direct supervision.
have decent communication skills
have ability to defuse conflict.
possess a valid driver's license and vehicle
are able to be on call (in a limited capacity)
Drug screening and criminal background check required.
Job duties include, but not limited to:
Report to Property Manager.
Handle resident Work Orders promptly, efficiently and courteously.
Operating mechanical equipment on the property, such as snow blowers, power tools, snowplow, landscaping equipment, etc.
Complete regularly scheduled preventative maintenance activities (check water heaters, crawl spaces, emergency lights, etc.)
Perform apartment turnovers; go through turnover checklist, fix drywall, paint, re-caulk, fix leaks, coordinate subs (carpet, etc).
Perform general apartment maintenance.
Perform general clean-up of the apartment community as necessary.
Being available for after-hour emergency calls.
Hourly wage/ Salary depends on experience. Benefits available.
