We are looking for cooks who can prepare and provide an experience that will make the guests want to return just from the first bite. We are looking for cooks who can take the locally sourced ingredients provided for them and present the guest with an incredible dish.
Portermill is Food Craft Beer. The three things we do best! Enjoy 18 different tap beers all from the great state of Iowa. We make many of our menu items from scratch such as our buns for our delicious burgers, the dressing to top your salad with and also our hand cut French fries! Portermill is the place for someone who needs a quick bite before boarding or for the traveler who has some time to view the tarmac from our large floor to ceiling windows and our growler wall.
We are hiring for afternoons, nights and weekends. The best part- no late night! Must be able to work weekends.
Our Ideal Candidate:
At least one full year of full service restaurant experience
Ability to thrive in a fast pace, quick service atmosphere
Can be a team player and help out when needed
Passion for cooking and making the menu items
An appetite for learning and advancing their cooking knowledge
