MiD-America Environmental Solutions is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Environmental Field Technician. Qualified candidates must be 21 years of age or older, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have a valid drivers license. Individuals applying should be capable of performing strenuous physical labor when required, flexibility in work hours, must be able to wear a respirator, and be able to work in tight spaces or at heights when required.
Environmental Technicians are trained to work in asbestos abatement, emergency response for chemical and fuel spills, various forms of industrial cleaning, and heavy equipment operation.
Work is primarily in the Four State area. Overnight travel will occur occasionally.
Position is full time hourly with benefits of health insurance, holidays, retirement plan, and vacation. Starting wage is dependent upon past work experience, but ranges between $15.00 to $20.00 per hour to start. Position does regularly receive overtime.
