Logistics Support - Asset ManagementTracking Code2461Job DescriptionIgnite is currently recruiting for a Logistics Support-Asset Management to join our team at Stennis Space Center, MS.Tasks include, but are not limited to:

Monitor daily work requests and updates. Must be able to process information and set priorities based on that information. Accurately record and document all actions taken. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Maintain accurate document information and assist in producing Inventory Reports for any requested data. Focus on continued improvement in data quality.

Ability to work flexible hours if required. Typical working hours will match the Shipping and Receiving Departments hours. Staff may be required to work overtime or weekends during critical events such as major customer moves or as Management deems necessary.

Must be able to work independently with general supervision and a high degree of discretionary effort.

Create and maintain partnerships with external / internal customers that drive operational efficiencies through mutual respect and trust.

Maintain a clean and orderly environment. To be free of litter and debris and swept on a daily basis.

Must be NASA certified to operate a forklift or obtain NASA certification.

Must be fully ambulatory with considerable physical activity, which may require handling objects up to50 lbs. For example loading and unloading trucks, stacking cartons in the warehouse, delivering packages or moving equipment in the Data Center.

Ensure that employees and visitors follow all safety and security rules and procedures.

Required SkillsMinimum Required Skills:

Demonstrated ability to work independently with general supervision, make critical decisions, maintain thorough records of activities and keep supervision fully briefed on current issues.

Must be able to work and contribute in a team environment.

Candidates must be self-motivated, possess good writing skills, able to produce reports, be an effective communicator, and have good reading skills to interpret policies and procedures.

Basic computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Office, Word, etc.

Desired Skills:

Hands-on experience with inventory controls and processes.

Prior data center experience.

Inventory software training or experience.

Required Education:

High school education or GED

Desired Education:

Associate’s Degree in related field or commensurate experience

Required Experience

2+ years of experience working in a similar environment or facility. Prior experience should include similar duties and responsibilities that are specified in the job description.

Other Requirement:

Must be able to obtain a DOD Interim Secret clearance prior to employment. Continued employment is contingent that the employee obtains and maintains a full Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time.
