Date: Oct 17, 2019Location: Jackson, Mississippi, United StatesCompany: EntergyJOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:This position is responsible for maintaining the corrective action program database, assisting and training site personnel with the use of the database, and assisting with governance and oversight of the corrective action program and the operational excellence program.JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Establishing the standards and writing material related to the corrective action program (PCRS) and operational experience program.Assisting the sites with maintaining proper setup and utilization of PCRS modules.Ensuring corrective action program/operational experience personnel receive appropriate training on the functionality of PCRS and how to perform administrator duties.Assist the CFAM CAP/OE with governance and oversight activities for the corrective action program/operational experience program.Representing the CFAM as directed, performing assessments of corrective action programs and performance analysis of the corrective action program.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Minimum education required of the positionB.S. Degree in Engineering or related technical degree may be credited for up to 4 years of experience, or equivalent work experience.Minimum experience required of the position6 years commercial or military nuclear experience.Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the positionTechnical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operation. Familiar with industry recognized root cause analysis methods and techniques. Desired: Working knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and PCRS.Any certificates, licenses, etc. required for the positionNoneWORKING CONDITIONS:As a provider of essential services, Entergy expects its employees to be available to work additional hours, to work in alternate locations, and/or to perform additional duties in connection with storms, outages, emergencies, or other situations as deemed necessary by the company.
