We are looking to a hire a Superintendent/On-Site Project Manager with commercial construction experience. Our jobs are mainly light commercial build-outs, and some ground up new site projects. We are looking for someone dedicated, hardworking, and passionate about construction.
We are looking for someone who:
Has at least 2-3 years construction experience
Can manage commercial jobs, follow schedules, achieve key project milestones, and deliver projects on time.
Manage subcontractors while also self-performing aspects of commercial construction
Has some knowledge of: Metal stud/stick framing, concrete work, sheetrock, FRP, ACT systems, Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, trim carpentry, site/dirt work, operating equipment, and construction safety practices.
Must be able to:
Read Blueprints
Work 40+ hours per week as needed.
Work out of state
Work days and/or nights if needed
Must be able to meet physical demands of the job
Has valid drivers license
Job Functions:
Schedule subcontractors while also self-performing aspects of commercial construction
Follow a project schedule and coordinate multiple subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, etc.
Keep laborer(s) busy throughout the day.
Prepare daily reports/progress check-ins through Raken (project management App on phone.)
Interact with customers, building officials, inspectors, material suppliers, vendors, and other project personal
Figure up quantities and place orders for material.
Self-perform tasks such as: demo existing conditions in tenant spaces, Metal stud/wood framing, small concrete pours, decking/sheathing walls, hanging FRP, setting door frames/doors/hardware, trim carpentry, installing commercial kitchen equipment, ACT systems, Call for inspections.
