Hi, there. I'm 70 years old and I have Parkinson's. I'm looking to hire a part-time Personal Care Assistant (PCA). The hours are weekend shifts only, shifts hours may be between 8am-9pm depending on the weekend. This is a perfect position for anyone who has experience in the medical field, and would like additional income. Previous experience is required. I am looking for individuals who are reliable, willing to learn, and compassionate, along with the ability to speak English fluently and have a valid MN driver's license and SS#. We are looking for someone with a calm personality and who leaves their drama at the door. Parkinson's is a neurological challenge and anyone that is high stress or drama would not be a good fit for this position. We also would like this person to be a companion and enjoy activities like playing card games and watching movies.
This position provides experience with assisting an individual with the following:
Grooming
Bathing
Dressing
Preparing meals / feeding
Light housework, dishes, laundry
Administering medication
