Looking for a refreshing career path helping youth reach their potential? We are hiring for support staff! Wings is an adolescent residential facility for substance use and mental health disorders. Position hours vary. We are hiring for all-shifts. We ARE hiring for overnight positions, all positions are AWAKE only. Must have consistent transportation and be timely to all shifts. Valid drivers license is preferred but not required. Staff must be at least one year free of documented substance use problems and be willing to submit a background check. The chemical dependency technician is responsible for the following:
-Being a positive role model to the youth you serve
-Modeling appropriate boundaries at all times with both male and female clients
-Providing dependable, consistent supervision to all clients
-Maintaining communication with other staff such as counselors, administration, and clients
-Administering medication after being trained by nursing staff
-Documenting client behavior, communication, and client watches each shift worked
-Facilitating family visits and phone calls
-Overnight staff does moderate cleaning
-Driving clients to and from outings, recreation, and programming
-Facilitating communication to multi-disciplinary team including residential manager and administration
