Job Description
Since 1946 General Security Services Corporation (GSSC) DBA Midwest Patrol has been committed to keeping our community safe! Our company leverages the latest technologies in electronics along with providing trained Security Officers/Professionals to enhance the security programs for our clients.
We are currently seeking a Full Time and Part Time Security Officer in Silver Bay, MN! Previous Security, Military, Law enforcement, Criminal Justice experience, or related schooling required. We look forward to receiving your application!
Pay: Starting at $13.00 / hour
Responsibilities:
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points
- Enforces client procedures, regulations, and standards
- Provides Access Control / Monitoring of Security Systems and Software
- Responds to calls for assistance and emergency type situations
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing assignments and job-related tasks as needed
- Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
- Reacts appropriately and promptly in emergency situations
- Provides excellent customer service
- Pays close attention to detail
- Generates clear and concise written reports of shift activities
- Interacts professionally and engages with a diverse group of customers and members of public
- All other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- 1+ years Military, Law Enforcement, Corrections, and or extensive Security Experience
- Must pass background check and drug screen
- Must pass MVR
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must present a professional image and outgoing personality
- Must be able to work outside in extreme weather conditions
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to stand, walk or sit an entire shift
- Must be able to move quickly and safely
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
