Work Details:
Efficiently and skillfully operate sewing machines.
Read and understand work orders and related instructions.
Inspect materials (fabrics, zippers, etc) for quality.
Select supplies (fasteners, thread), for job specifications.
Examine finished work to verify high quality standards.
Perform basic sewing equipment maintenance (replacing worn needles and cleaning).
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment to our standards and procedures, including wearing required safety glasses and complying with all legal regulations.
Previous sewing knowledge is preferred, but not required.
Enjoy working with others in collaborative and co-operative task situations.
Appreciation for precision and desire to create lasting products.
Able to sit for extended periods
Able to lift/move up to 10-15 pounds
Other duties as assigned.
