Adecco is assisting a well-known company in recruiting for a Communications Technician I to work out of their Duluth, MN, and surrounding locations. This is a 6-month temporary assignment, with the potential for an extension. This person will be responsible for applying advanced skills in the repair and maintenance of a variety of telecom/datacom equipment and cabling. Don't wait - Apply Now!Responsibilities for a Communications Technician I include:Providing quality technician services for repair and installation of less complex telecom equipment (phones, teleconferencing units, report printers, etc.) and cabling
Assisting department with various databases and spreadsheets
Performing preventive maintenance in accordance with schedule
Working closely with and taking basic direction from other Technicians and Supervisors
Following best practices and procedures to ensure safety, quality, and accuracy standards are being met
Additional tasks may vary
Job Requirements:
Related job experience needed
Completion of technical school coursework in electronics, telecommunications, related field, or equivalent
Able to work and travel to all area locations as needed (Duluth, Superior, Hermantown)
Able to work occasional weekends (If/When needed)
Compensation is $18.58 per hour.
Hours are expected to be Monday-Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm.
