The Heights Apartments/Heights 55+ is currently looking for either one full-time Caretaker or two part-time Caretakers for overall cleaning of both apartment buildings inside and out.
Applicants must be available to work Monday -Friday from 8:00 am- 5:00 pm if full-time, or 8:00 am-12:00 pm if part-time. Available as needed for apartment turns.
Responsibilities and Duties:
To daily, keep all glass surfaces clean and common areas clean and vacuumed
Keeping all assigned interior and exterior areas clean and free of debris by sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
Must keep the community rooms clean for resident’s use, as well as public restroom and fitness room
The Caretaker must clean all apartment turnovers in the agreed-upon time frame, typically, apartment turnovers occur between the last day of the month and the first day of the month. Apartment turnover often occur within a 24-hour period
Assist in delivering notices, watering plants, shoveling snow, pushing in trash dumpsters as needed, empty trash containers inside, large containers outside & in the dog park, cleaning garage as needed, and any other duties as assigned by the Manager
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous Housekeeping or Caretaker Experience is preferred
Must be a team player and Communicate daily with office and maintenance staff as needed
Candidate should be organized, punctual and pay attention to detail
Must be able to work independently and complete general work duties in a timely manner
Must be familiar with cleaning products and their various uses
Must be able to operate a carpet shampooer machine
Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision benefits. Full-time employees also receive holiday pay, vacation and sick time after the probationary period.
