Job Summary: To pack a specific number of quality plastics parts in an appropriately sized and labeled containers.
Job Description:
Promotes safety awareness, educates, and enforces all safety riles throughout the plan with the goal set at zero plant related injuries.
Follow lockout procedures.
Visually inspect and compare production parts with sample parts to assure defect free products within established production standards.
Pack quality parts and place on a skid in accordance with packing specifications to prevent damage when shipping.
Properly complete require charting, tracking, and documentation of production parts for traceability purpose.
Perform secondary production operations and reworking of parts, and fill out related documents.
Grind scrap plastic while material handler or process technician.
Notify process technician of any problems with parts and/or trim tool. Notify process technician if you receive more than 5 bad pasts in any given hour, or 3 bad parts in a row.
Notify the material handler and process technician at 50 parts prior to a color change or mold change.
Participate in teamwork by helping others in completing a job. Assist anyone who needs who needs and/or training as time permits.
Properly clean out the trim tool at the end of each shift and during color changes.
Support continuous improvement team activities as assigned.
Follow all QMS and EMS policies, procedures and work instructions.
General housekeeping; keep work area clean and organized at all times per the 5-S standard.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma
Ability to perform repetitive tasks
Motor coordination, manual & finger dexterity
Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
