The Estimator position plays a critical role in the growth & profitability of the shop. By directly interacting with customers, you will put together the 'game plan' to repair while upholding the quality and cycle time standards that have made us a leader in our field! A successful candidate will have good communication skills, a strong customer service background, and a self starting work ethic.
Job Responsibilities:
-Interact with customers, answer telephones and customer questions
-Inspect vehicles, write estimates
-Manage all work authorizations, repair and parts orders, supplements and warranty work
-Work with insurance companies to process claims, submit supplements and take photos
-Enter invoices and complete other required paperwork
-Quality Control of vehicles before customer delivery
-Establish and maintain a good working relationship with customers, technicians, insurance representatives and vendors
Requirements and Experience:
-At least 1 year in the collision repair business
-Written and verbal communication skills
-Computer skills and money management skills
-Ability to manage time, solve problems quickly, meet deadlines and complete assigned tasks
-Good attendance and a strong work ethic
-Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office
-Valid, clean driver's license
Preferred, but not Required:
-Prior experience as an estimator
