JOB POSTING: ELECTRICAL CONTROLS/PROJECT ENGINEERLOCATION: Midland MIDURATION: Direct HirePAY: $30-$35/hr plus Overtime/FlexibleKelly Services seeking a Controls/Project Engineer to join our growing customer in Midland, Michigan.Responsibilities:As our Electrical Controls/Project Engineer, you would be responsible for
Working with our team on electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic controls system layouts and design
Electrical schematics and panel design
Developing proficiency in several programming languages and control device networks for PLCs and CNC systems.
PLC, CNC and HMI programming
Industrial control device configuration and setup
System commissioning, debug and troubleshooting
Visual Studio (C# or VB.net) programming preferred (but not required)
Ensuring all designs adhere and comply with all applicable specifications and standards, including UL508A
Troubleshooting and modifying existing control systems to resolve failures and/or improve operational performance
Interacting with customers to gain an understanding of specifications and scope of work for assigned projects.
Requirements:As an Electrical Controls Engineer, we require:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Industrial Engineering or Computer Sciences
At least 7 years of experience as an Electrical Controls Engineer
Siemens TIA/Step7, Fanuc and/or Rockwell ControlLogix PLC Programming experience.
HMI Development
Networking experience including – Profinet/Profibus, EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, and DeviceNet.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (specifically AutoCAD Electrical and MS Excel)
Willingness to travel (typically 25% or less)
