In FY2018, Ascension provided nearly $2 billion in care of persons living in poverty and other community benefit programs.What You Will Do As a Case Management Supervisor with Ascension Michigan, you will have the opportunity to supervise assigned staff in performing activities or tasks in case management services.Responsibilities:
Supervises the orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
Assists with performance evaluations.
Participates in multidisciplinary meetings or committees addressing issues and implementation of new services.
Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures and protocols.
What You Will Need Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
Required Credential(s):
One or more of the following:
Case Manager credentialed from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Social Worker credentialed from the Michigan Board of Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any level accepted.
Education:
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
Work Experience:
1 year of experience required.
5 or more years of RN experience preferred, experience wokring in a care management role strongly desired.
Experience in a professional / supervisory role preferred.
