DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:JOB DESCRIPTION:Responsible for deployingbusiness-driven talent management strategies designed to attract, manage,develop, motivate & retain employees while creating a high-performance, sustainable organization capable of achieving our strategic imperativesand growth plans. This position reportsto the VP Human Resources for Clean Air and may have matrix reporting relationshipto the Corporate Talent Management Leader. This position will be located in Northville, Michigan, in late 2019.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead
Capability Planning sessions with business and functional leaders to assesstalent capability, alignment to business KPIs and team engagement with sessionoutput informing resource planning, development needs, and talent pools.
Drive
the performance management process which establishes measurable goal settingand alignment, development planning,tracking progress, coaching and evaluation of achievement for individuals against our strategicobjectives and action plans.
Drive
the individual development process (career development) which utilizesindividual’s strengths anddevelopmental needs to create a development plan for positions of higherresponsibility.
Utilize
and educate organization on value of competency models, job profiles, jobdescriptions and career ladders.
Manage
internal and external assessment processes.
Deploy
a range of learning and development experiences that build necessary knowledge, skills, competencies and values required for innovation and business growth.
Deploy
leadership development programs and framework to ensure depth, breadth and diversity in the leadership pipeline.
Assist
in the identification and tracking of measurements to determine overalleffectiveness and financial impact of the talent management strategies and initiatives.ADDITIONALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will have a wide
range of contact with all levels of the organization and may negotiate withvendors.
Budgetary
responsibility will be in the range of $100,000 to $1 Million. This position may supervise otherprofessionals.
Decisions made by this
position-holder could have a major impact on the short-term and long-term effectivenessof a major organizational unit.
Up to 25% travel may be required.
REQUIREMENTS:MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
University degree in business or
the behavioral sciences. 7-10 yearsof progressive experience in human resources.
Supervisor/Management
experience. Strong customer serviceorientation.
Excellent written and verbal
communication skills.
A team player who is results-driven, able to work under pressure, has strong leadership skills, high energy, strong organizational skills, is empathetic and able to deal with issues in an open,honest manner.
Ability to effectively present information to top management,public groups and/or boards of directors.
